Shot Show Shenanigans
Dearest Breanna, my darling wife,
I’m so glad outdoors Show season is over for the industry! They are so boring and we just end up making forced chit chat with gun writers all the time. Below, a few photos of me with some of those incredibly boring no-fun guys from Aimpoint I was forced to hang out with, as well as a shot of me and Schoby talking to a couple of fur trappers at the Sako party, (if you can even call it a party), as you can see it was freezing in that place and I was badly underdressed. My VIP pass nearly froze to my chest! I’m a professional though and we are committed to the job, so I soldiered on as any good breadwinner should. It always warms me to know you are keeping the home fires burning in Peoria.
Anyway just wanted you to know I will dread the arrival of Show season again, I barely even managed a day of snowboarding during that dreadful SCI show in Reno last month….
And, as you can see, the NRA show last week was a bust, what with all the awkward socializing:
Everything at the Minus 5 vodka bar was built of solid ice. These friendly fur trappers helped me and Schoby survive the cold, as did the special tonic everyone kept pouring down my throat from those solid-ice glasses at the SAKO party. As you can see the glass was frozen to Schoby’s hand, so he suffered as well.
